MC looking at the room with wide, sparkling eyes, the Director’s void is heavily muffled under the choir and harp music playing. MC walks in and sits in the chair where a controller is resting. MC grabs it, and launches the console on. A bright blue and green screen with the words “Sheeping Around” lights up the TV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This is your destiny.” MC grips the controller and launches the game. A devastatingly handsome man in a sheep costume walks into frame of a wide and open grass field. Sheep flock and graze in the background. The man is idling. MC pushes the joystick forward, then a textbox blocks the path. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“What the, ughhh. Tutorials.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
‘This dating simulator is AI generated in its responses and dialogue. It responds and changes based on how it is treated. The possibilities are endless! Start by talking to the sheep.’ <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Oh, huh, dating. Iiiii…. don’t know how to do that.” MC pushes the joystick forward and selects the dialogue command on the handsome man dressed as a sheep. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Oh! Baaah to you. I haven’t seen you here before. What’s your name?” A new text box appears. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
‘Tell the sheep your name out loud using the built-in microphone in your controller. 3, 2, 1, Go.’ <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The light on the controller flashes green. “Oh, uh, Na-” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another text box appears. ‘Recording complete.’ <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Huh?” MC holds the controller up to inspect it further as the game continues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The handsome sheep responds, “Oh, uh Na-?” That name suits you. I’m Baahrut. Did you come here to graze?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The light glows again on the controller but MC doesn’t notice and thinks out loud, “Am I a sheep as well?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baahrut giggles, “Of course you are, what a silly notion. I’m sorry I asked such an obvious question. I’m a bit shy, bad at small talk. Would you mind if I joined you?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MC holds up the controller to their mouth with a bored expression, “Sure.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baahrut reaches for the hand of the player character and makes romantic eye contact with MC for a moment. MC’s expression falls into curiosity, they sit up straighter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baahrut blushes and chuckles, “I know the best spot. This way.” MC blushes and shrinks into the cozy chair with glee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
CUT TO <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MC when they were younger wandering around their mansion. “Dad?! I’m hungry.” MC opens the door to their Dad’s office. It’s empty, but the laptop screen is glowing in the dark. MC circles around to see. There’s an active, live cam with a topless man laying suggestively on a bed, dragging his finger along his body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Mr. Big Business? Where’d you go? I’m waiting so patiently.” MC’s eyes are wide and captivated. Their breath quickens then… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The present day of MC with the same expression while play testing the game. Baahrut and MC’s player character are sitting on a cliff overlooking the valley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“See Oh, uh Na-, the best grazing spot.” The controller lights up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MC speaks, “What do I look like to you?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baahrut tilts their head with a warm smile. “Glorious yet approachable. That’s the impression I get when looking at you. What about me?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The controller lights up. “Devastatingly handsome.” Baahrut blushes deeply and turns his gaze away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MC talks out loud absentmindedly, “He’s not so good at taking compliments, huh?” Baahrut’s eyes widen and he turns to look at MC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It’s like you see right through to the real me. And we only just met…” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MC’s eyes widen in surprise. “Oh I didn’t know you would hear me that time!” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baahrut rubs the back of their neck. “I got a bit curious. I couldn’t wait to hear what you had to say.” MC looks down at the controller and sees the light is permanently on then looks back up at the TV. Baahrut shifts closer. “Is that okay?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
